Our client, a International luxury hotel is currently looking for Pastry Chef for their hotels in HK.
Pastry Chef has to manage 9 team members and he/she will report to Executive Sous Chef.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for smooth running of the day to day dessert operations of the culinary departments of restaurant & bar
Ensure that all operating equipment & Pastry Kitchen are maintained in good working condition
Inspect incoming products related to the pastry & bakery and ensure proper storage and rotation
Take full responsibility in managing the pastry & bakery kitchen
Requirements:
8 years of experience in the pastry operation preferably in luxury hotel with Michelin-starred or World 50 Best outlets
Acquire work exposure in Asia is an advantage
Excellent food & beverage and menu planning knowledge
Creativity, patience and stamina desired
Able to maintain composure under busy operation
Strong interpersonal skills and exemplary leadership skills
Good command of both spoken and written French
