Our Client, a leading international theme park group, is recruiting a Regional Sales Leader, taking care of International market, base in Shanghai.
The Manager, International Sales is responsible for formulating and driving the execution of sales strategy, product development, and account optimization for all the company's indirect sales channels outside of China.
This role is instrumental to the sustainable business growth of multiple contracted distribution partners, and other non-contracted distributors, who contribute a significant portion of the company's attendance and room night production. The team that the position manages is extremely dynamic, with team members positioned in key source markets in the APAC region.
The Manager, International Sales and his/her team must drive all business development efforts to facilitate sales conversions from all these partners and bring guests from International Markets to the company. The Manager, International Sales and his/her team must constantly adapt to evolving business environments in different markets by formulating appropriate strategies and tactics to mobilize these partners in order to meet revenue goals.
We are looking for candidates with:
Excellent command of Chinese and English are mandatory. Effective presentation and business conversation skills are essential to the success of this role, especially the ability to communicate in a highly organized, persuasive, confident, and credible manner when dealing with executivelevel partners in the travel trade;
Have leadership capabilities to manage a remote and diverse team;
Preferably experience in the airline, hotel, cruise or travel industry with strong commercial, project planning, budget management, presentation, leadership, and team management skills;
Good liaison skills for business development and building partnerships (internal and external);
Have strong business acumen and logical thinking, and the ability to develop business cases and use research and data to identify business opportunities;
Strong analytical skills, sensitivity to numbers, including sales data, and user behavior data;
Strong problem-solving capability to handle complex business development challenges in different market;
Ability to drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal
responsibility.
