Our client, a luxury retail brand will embark on a series of truly exceptional F&B projects that will serve to further elevate and differentiate their client experience.

These new projects will include restaurant concept with a 3-star Michelin chef as well as cafés in different locations/cities.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for overseeing all hospitality/F&B projects in China:
    o Primary responsibility for the launch, implementation, and successful management
    of 3-star Michelin chef restaurant, existing Café in Shanghai and in other cities.
    • Lead the development and ongoing workstream on all Food & Beverage Projects
    o Serve as primary liaison and project lead with all 3rd-party operators and
    consultants:

  • Close collaboration with operators to ensure commercial and brand KPI’s are achieved on all project launches.

  • Ensure strong project management with operators to deliver openings in a timely and qualitative manner.

  • Monitor ongoing operational execution by operators to ensure brand requirements are met; communicate clear requirements as needed to improve brand KPIs and ensure strong communication BRAND executive team.

  • Ensure respect of all legal requirements on all F&B projects, in close partnership with Legal.
    o Coordinate with consulting chefs to ensure that concept delivery is aligned with brand direction, standards, and expectations:

  • Partner with Communications & Image to ensure timely approvals on all branded requirements, inclusive menu design, FOH requirements, etc.

  • Close coordination with local communications team on any marketing related topics, inclusive social media, website, PR, as defined in the consulting agreement with our chef
    o Coordination with all relevant brand departments, including local teams (COO, CFO,GC, Communications, Retail, Legal, Finance, Client Development, CRM, Operations) and HQ teams (Global F&B, Architecture) to ensure all projects are successfully managed in accordance with global/local standards and expectations.

  • Post-opening, implement concrete follow-up process to ensure consistent adherence to food quality and service standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct experience in hospitality / F&B, 5 years minimum.

  • Strong experience in luxury/high-end hospitality, with proven ability to understand and deliver client service expectations at the equivalent of a “1 Michelin star” concept.

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to create and maintain strong partnerships both internally and externally.

  • Proven project management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Experience managing and understanding operating P&Ls in F&B and hospitality, with working knowledge of acceptable cost benchmarks.

  • Ability to serve as a client-facing company brand ambassador regarding hospitality concepts.
