Executive Pastry Chef (Shenzhen)

Our client, a luxury hotel in Shenzhen is currently looking for Pastry Chef for their hotels in Shenzhen.

We are looking for candidates with luxury hotel working experience


Responsibilities:-

  • Full responsibility for smooth running of the dayto day dessert operations of the culinary departments of 8 restaurants & Bars.

  • Ensure that all operating equipment & Pastry Kitchen are maintained in good working condition.

  • Inspect incoming products related to the pastry & bakery and ensure proper storage and rotation.

  • Take full responsibility in managing the pastry & bakery kitchen.


Requirements:-

  • 8 years of experience in the pastry operation preferably in luxury hotel with Michelin-starred or World 50 Best outlets.

  • Acquire work exposure in Asia is an advantage.

  • Excellent food & beverage and menu planning knowledge.

  • Creativity, patience and stamina desired.

  • Able to maintain composure under busy operation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and exemplary leadership skills.

  • Good command of both spoken and written English.

  • Strong training Skills.

  • A team player who is motivational.

  • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality,consistency and hygiene.

  • Perform annual budgeting and cost control.

  • Good administrative skills.

  • Computer proficiency in major software.
