About the Opportunity
A leading integrated resort operator is currently search for a Director of Leasing to spearhead the repositioning of a landmark retail destination in Macau. The 300,000-square-foot mall is undergoing a strategic transformation and is managed by a dedicated team within a larger portfolio. This is a rare opportunity for a leasing professional to shape and implement a bold, fresh leasing strategy from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor an onsite leasing team to reposition the retail asset as a unique, high-performing destination in Macau
  • Strategically identify and secure new-to-market brands, particularly emerging retailers from mainland China, including anchor tenants
  • Develop and execute a leasing strategy targeting categories such as big-box anchors, lifestyle & home, fashion, athleisure, electronics, gadgets, and F&B
  • Collaborate closely with the asset management team to curate a tenant mix that maximizes footfall, sales performance, and turnover rent, aligning with the asset’s financial goals
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Leasing and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and smooth store delivery and opening
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the annual Strategic Leasing Plan
  • Oversee lease administration and ensure accurate, timely preparation of leasing reports
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the Head of Leasing

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in retail leasing within large-scale developers in Mainland China or similar mixed-use/commercial portfolios
  • Deep understanding of China’s retail landscape, consumer trends, and emerging retail brands
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (either Cantonese or Mandarin)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related discipline
