A large-scale theme park and integrated resort development project in Guangdong is seeking a Finance Director， and this role is accountable for all financial aspects of the build. A separate team will be responsible for the park's operations, ensuring it is ready to open to the public as planned.
The primary scope of this role is to provide financial leadership for the construction of
the Park. This includes devising financial strategy, stewardship, and reporting for both the shareholders and Merlin senior management.
Qualifications
1. Proven track record (10 years +) of executive or senior finance experience in highprofile, large-scale international construction companies. Ideally, within the leisure or theme park industry.
2. Strong influencing and negotiation skills with financial and non-financial, internal and external stakeholders.
3. Experience in establishing and operating bespoke financial governance and control systems within a construction management environment.
4. English is a prerequisite. Chinese would be preferable.
5. Strong Qualified CPA - (UK:- ACA, ACCA, CIMA) / (US:- CPA, MBA qualification) or similar.
