Our client, a Macau's leading integrated resort and casino developer is now looking for Chief Engineer
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and ensure safe, efficient operation of all plant and equipment.
2. Coordinate planned maintenance by contractors and in‑house technicians for building systems.
3. Lead managers and supervisors in executing quality mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs, following engineering practices and safety regulations.
4. Supervise on‑site contractors to verify compliance with specifications; estimate job duration, manpower, materials, tools, and special services; maintain adequate spare parts stock.
5. Analyze equipment defects and initiate corrective actions.
6. Develop onsite training curricula for apprentices and drive continuous improvement in technical skills.
7. Handle ad‑hoc tasks, maintain customer communication, and develop service improvement plans, especially for casino areas.
8. Strengthen internal and cross‑departmental collaboration.
9. Complete regular reports and statistics for senior management and keep an efficient filing system.
10. Make sound decisions under pressure, and be available 24/7 for emergencies.
11. Oversee purchasing, inventory, and service contracts for facilities maintenance and A&A work.
12. Anticipate needs, solve problems, manage multiple projects, motivate diverse teams, and set clear priorities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree is required with Facilities Management (Mechanical & HVAC Engineering)
2. 8-10 years of related experience is required and inclusive of 4 years managerial experience.
3. Experience in operation & maintenance of large scale water cooled centrifugal chillers
