Our client, an international brand hotel is currently looking for Executive Chef for their hotel in Shenzhen.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage kitchen operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage (F&B) policies, HACCP standards and procedures
Maintain corporate food preparation and presentation guidelines
Oversee menus and recipe developments
Ensure modern F&B offerings to enhance guest experience
Develop team to ensure & enhance knowledge of western cuisine
Monitor procedures to minimize F&B wastage
Foster positive working environment & colleague engagement
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years hospitality experience with at least 5 years experience as Executive Chef
International Luxury hotel experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of Western cuisine. Michelin restaurant experience preferred
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards and HACCP
Strong leadership and people development skills
Excellent communication skills. Fluent written & spoken English
Creative and keeping up with market trends
Legally authorized to work in China
