Our client, one of the world’s leading hotel companies is currently looking for Senior Compliance Manager.
We need this person to work as the problem solver, helping to improve and structure the internal control policy and compliance to set global standards. On-going training tool development and education provide to Finance and Non-Finance Business Partner to strengthen the operations compliance to support company growth and expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Develop, Oversight, Direction, and Supervision of the hotel compliance on internal controls, policies execution and global standards.
Designs, develops, and evolves compliance training, online tools and education with hotel finance and non-finance members.
This role will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation and working with Corporate Operations Finance team to meet specific targets including project deliverables, timeline and budget.
Implement strategies to improve and finance process and procedures across all brands to add value to the effectiveness of compliance efforts.
Report findings and recommend investigative proceedings if fraudulent activities are found.
Perform follow-ups to ensure issues are properly addressed.
Work with key stakeholders in ensuring that the finance business partnering function is highly valued as a strategic partner to the company and retains an ongoing focus on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
This position has impact regarding the prioritization of work and for identifying opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master Degree in a relevant field of work (Internal Audit, Accounting, or Finance) or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
5 years work experience in Audit or Internal Control, preferably with a big four accounting firm or hospitality in-house audit/compliance.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Strong Power Points skills.
Initiates, supports and manages change within the organization, taking steps to remove barriers or to accelerate its pace.
Ability to leverage resources in the accomplishment of objectives.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills
