Our client, a leading international luxury hotel group, is seeking an Executive Chef to join one of its flagship properties in New Zealand. This senior leadership role sits on the hotel’s Executive Committee and offers an exciting platform to shape and elevate the property’s culinary direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a large culinary team across multiple outlets, including high-volume banquet operations.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction.
  • Drive menu innovation and bring fresh culinary ideas to the property.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships effectively.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of events and guest experiences.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the culinary team, building a culture of excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in an international luxury or large-scale hotel.
  • Strong background in banquets and catering operations, with the ability to manage high-volume events.
  • Exposure to culinary experiences outside hotels (e.g., standalone restaurants, catering, or F&B ventures) highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
